A village school has existed in Forest Row since the mid nineteenth century and in the early 1970s an Infant School was built on the present site to accommodate the youngest children of the Primary age-range. In 1992 the two departments merged when the new building - primarily a Junior Department, was added to the Infant School. The village school now occupies a quiet secluded location, bordered by playing fields and trees. |
