Founded in 1978 in Forest Row, East Sussex, the Society has been showing great films ever since. Devoted to first-rate world cinema and art house movies, we show films from September to May in 16mm format. All films are shown in their original language with English subtitles.
This season is the biggest ever. Located near East Grinstead and Ashdown Forest we are a film club which is easily accessible from other towns and villages in mid Sussex, north west Kent, and south Surrey.
The programme for the 2007-8 season is listed below. Full details are on the website.

Most
films are screened in the village hall at 8pm. More details about
the films will appear on the website later in the summer. You can
also sign up to our email list to receive reminders about our
screenings and for information about special events.
We
are currently fundraising for new digital equipment, and are
currently about halfway to our target of £8000. In addition,
the village hall is due to buy some new comfortable chairs, and is
seeking sponsorship and donations; the film society will be making a
contribution to this fund.
If
you would like to make a donation for either cause, or help with the
society in any way, please let us know.
