Forest Row Film Society is delighted to announce that we have been awarded £6605 by Awards for All; this means we have received £12000 in total from grants and donations which, together with our reserves, means we have enough money for some decent digital equipment. Though we still have a sizeable amount of work to do to get the new equipment bought and in place, we thank everyone who has supported us in this activity.
Our first film of the season will be Fellini's Ginger and Fred on
19th September; the full programme will be confirmed shortly. We will
start with our existing 16mm equipment and introduce the new projector
in October. What with the new chairs and other improvements to the
village hall, the film viewing experience in Forest Row is going to be
much improved this year.
Our printed programme will be available
next month. As before it will be a 12 page A5 booklet in black and
white on coloured paper. If you would like to advertise in it, please
let me know. Rates are £25 for a quarter page, which is very reasonable
since members tend to retain the programme for an entire year. We will
need copy and/or artwork by 28th August, please.
Best wishes
Brad
