Want to understand better why your electricity bill is what it is?

The Transition Forest Row Energy group are planning a bulk wholesale purchase of 'owl' electricity monitors which we can purchase for £22.40 per unit (current rrp is £34.95). Whilst this might prompt us to wonder whether we can indeed purchase our way to a more sustainable future, knowledge is a powerful thing and we like the idea of any kind of monitoring device that allows us to track these 'utility' type goods that we tend to consume with little knowledge of how much each 'bit' costs us. And on the basis that someone's friend has one and is really pleased with it, we thought we would try it out.....
