Male asking for petrol money
One
of the Community Contact members has emailed to make everyone aware of a
suspicious male. This male was reported to be beckoning cars to stop in a lay
by south of Five Chimneys. Once a car stopped the male asked for money to buy
petrol with, on seeing that the motorist had a mobile phone, the male made an
offer to buy the mobile phone. The motorist said no got back into his car and
drove off. There is no mention made of the male being threatening, the whole
incident was portrayed as suspicious. However I would like to remind anyone who
may see this male not to give him any money, if can offer money to buy a mobile
phone, then surely he can pay for his own petrol. Think about it.
