Burglary – Forest Row

Sometime overnight on Tuesday 26th February a business premises in Hartfield Road, Forest Row was broken into. The persons responsible gained entry by smashing a rear window and stole various items of electrical equipment including a laptop and a satellite navigation unit to the value of £1400. £150 cash was also stolen from the premises.

Police are urging anyone who has been offered for sale a Dell Inspiron 9300 laptop or Tom Tom One Sat Nav, or saw any suspicious activity in Hartfield Road near the junction of Blacklands Crescent on the evening of Tuesday 26th or in the early hours of Wednesday 27th February to contact PC Lee Rittman at Uckfield Police Station on 0845 60 70 999 quoting serial 224 of the 27th February 2008. Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
