Nutley – Robbery
At 6:40pm on Sunday 30th December 2007 a robbery occurred at the Nutley Garage, High Street, Nutley. Two men both wearing balaclavas entered the garage and one was in possession of a knife. The men threatened the shop assistant and assaulted him leaving him with minor injuries. The two males eventually ran off along the A22 towards Uckfield, possibly entering the church yard.

The males responsible are described as white, in their early to mid 20's, wearing black balaclavas and light coloured hooded jumpers.

Police are appealing for witnesses and ask anyone with any information to contact DC Dave Satchwell at Uckfield Police Station on 0845 60 70 999 quoting serial 980 of the 30th December 2007. Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555111.

HOLTYE  Approx 2:30pm Mon 07/01/08      Burglary        Cansiron Lane   Two burglars were disturbed by the owner’s return. Not believed that anything was stolen. Believed that the suspects made off in a grey car     830 of 07/01/08

FOREST ROW      Between 11:30pm Mon 31/12/07 and 11:00am Tues 01/01/08  Damage  Hartfield Road  Silver Vauxhall Corsa had the wind screen broken        1333 of 01/01/08       
FOREST ROW      Between 6:00pm Wed 02/01/08 and 8:40am Thurs 03/01/08   Damage  Stonedene Close Red VW Polo had paint scratched off from the handle and door lock area  838 of 03/01/08
NUTLEY  Overnight Mon 07/01/08 and Tues 08/01/08        Damage  Clockhouse Lane Green Jaguar XJ Sport had the valves on two tyres cut, the tyres deflated       216 of 08/01/08
