  • NigelS : Thanks to the "Arabian Nights" team. I always reckon that our village panto is funnier and more closely in the tradition of panto than many professional productions!
  • webmaster : "Does anyone there remember the old Crocodile pub? It was run in the 60's by my friends Helen and Wally Hyatt. Any info gratefully received especially photos. Thanks". Posted on behalf of Don Prescott, «email»

Can you help Community Contact Print E-mail
Posted by Community Contact Wealden
Can you please help us to develop COMMUNITY CONTACT?

Our scheme is progressing well but the most difficult problem, as always, is making local Residents aware of it.
There is an excellent leaflet/poster on the Police web site which we would like to make as many people as possible aware of.

Please click here for a very simple download of the leaflet/poster in pdf file format.

Could I suggest ways in which you might be able to help us please:

  • Could you forward this message to e-mail addresses of friends or contacts?
  • Could you print the poster and give it to your neighbours and people who may have moved into your area recently?
  • Could you print the poster and get it displayed in shops or on local notice boards?
  • Can you perhaps get the information circulated through the literature or e-mail circulation lists of any clubs, associations or even schools that you may be involved with.
  • Parish magazines, local broadsheets etc are again very useful, a press release can be provided for inclusion.
  • Finally are there any ideas that you may have as to how we may publicise our scheme given that we have no regular budget?

Thank you for any help you feel able to give. We really do appreciate your support.
