Christian Aid's current campaign is to 'Cut the Carbon' and there is no doubt in my mind that we all need to be making every effort to reduce our own carbon dependency for all our futures.
Calculating your carbon footprint is easy to do on-line and its
fascinating to see how certain things really affect your footprint,
other things not so - it doesn't take long to get a quick indication -
and to see how one's own footprint compares to the UK average (just
over 11 tonnes per year) or the 'global sustainable level' - about a
quarter of the current UK average.
