In my experience the online car sharing websites don't work for short irregular journeys (shopping trips, doctor's visits etc) but there must be some way to make it work... I wonder whether we need some sort of central smart co-ordinator to get it going rather than messages and websites which might languish for weeks and hence no one uses them.. Anyway, please contact me if you have any bright ideas (this is a current hot topic with me), and if you need a lift from AW to FR, or from AW or FR to Crowborough or Hailsham then let me know as I go there often.....
