Help Fight Hospital Closures
Posted by Forest Row Parish Council

The Parish Council is extremely concerned at the proposals to close the A&E and Maternity Departments at the Princess Royal Hospital.  This will mean an additional journey to either Brighton or Redhill hospitals for local people to access these two vital services.  All this when we have increased security alerts at Gatwick airport.  Imagine having to drive an extra 40 minutes, to an area you don’t know with someone who is either in pain or about to give birth…..  doesn’t bear thinking about does it?

Update! New Refuse Collection
Posted by Alan Potter

Extra wheelie bins and new plastic baskets have been appearing outside the homes in Forest Row in the last couple of days. These announce the arrival of the new kerbside recycling scheme being launched by Wealden District Council throughout the parish next week. For those of you who ordered free or subsidised how composters they should be delivered next week when the new service commences.
