| World renowned artist David Shepherd at Chequer Mead Theatre, East Grinstead.
Following his visit in 2004, Chequer Mead are delighted to be welcoming back artist David Shepherd. Known internationally as one of the world's leading wildlife artists, he is also a passionate conservationist and through the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, campaigns tirelessly on behalf of endangered wildlife and animals all over the world.
Set up in 1984, the Foundation has now raised over £3.5million which has been given away in grants to help save critically endangered mammals in their wild habitat and to benefit the local people that share their environment.
In this very special evening, David will be talking about his work as an artist as well as the work of his Foundation. There will be an exhibition of David’s work in the Studio at Chequer Mead which will be open in the afternoon as well as in the evening with a chance to buy artwork and meet David.
David will be exhibiting his work in the Studio at Chequer Mead 1-4pm
then from 6.30pm until the talk in the theatre starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are
priced at £7.50 and concessions are priced at £6.00 – they are available from
the Chequer Mead Box Office in 01342 302000.
