Sustainability in Practice - 19 February 2008
I believe the Forest Row community may be interested in the above free event on renewable energy, which will be held at Plumpton College on 19 February, 10am - 4pm.
It is likely there will be around 20 exhibitors, one or two from each aspect of renewable energy.
Exhibitors to date include:
- Blooming Futures (generator demo)- sustainable biofuels, especially Pure Plant Oil
- Conker Conservation - building designer, including underground and green roofs
- CPL Energy Systems - wind turbines and photovoltaics (solar electricity)

- Ecosys - environmental waste management / minimisation
- East Sussex County Council Rethink Rubbish (bus)

- FBC - Baxi wood pellet (multifuel) and log burning boilers
- Green Building Solutions - training, education and consultancy in sustainable construction
- Natural England
- Plumpton College – Pure Plant Oil press demonstration
- Powertech Solar Ltd - solar hot water, underfloor heating, multifuel thermal store, etc
- Sustainable Technology Ltd - installer of renewable technologies
- TREC - proponents of concentrated solar power plants in Africa
- Worcester Bosch Group - flat plate solar and heat pumps
