William Shaekspeare's Macbeth directed by Vasile Nedelcu
What happens if prophesies come true? The ambitions of Scottish warlord Macbeth (Connor Jordan) are fired up when he is granted a title as foretold by the three weird sisters...But they also foretold him he would be king. Shall he kill to make this second prophecy come true? And his ambitious wife, Lady Macbeth (Rachel Woodd), has a say in it, too...
Director Vasile Nedelcu has worked for Artemis for a couple of years: He put on Ionesco's "Exit the King" (2006) and Anton Chekhov's "Platonov - a worthless fellow (Spring 2007). This is his first attempt at Shakespeare.
