AN ANTHOLOGY OF CONTEMPORARY BRITISH POETRY
CELEBRATING THE SPIRITUAL JOURNEY
The challenges of a spiritual quest within a fast changing material world are alive, burning and sublime within the poetry echoed throughout this new book. Emerson College is inspired to bring many of these poets together for a day of exploration and celebration. Reading from the anthology and giving tweny minute talks about their work and vision are:

JAY RAMSAY, author, poet and editor of Into The Further Reaches'.

PETER ABBS, professor of creative writing at Sussex University, poetry editor of Resurgence and founder of The New Metaphysical Poets.

GABRIEL MILLAR, therapist and workshop leader.

PAUL MATTHEWS, teacher and poet in residence at Emerson College.

JEHANNE MEHTA will perform her poetry and music with 'Earthwards'.
-
Aidan Andrew Dun's mellow electric guitar will accompany his magnetic poetry.
-
Guest poets include The Fire Poet Phillip Wells, Own Davies, Lisa Dart, Ben Reyner and Claudine Whiting Bloomfield.
BRING YOUR OWN POEMS TO SHARE AND HELP US RE-IMAGINE A NEW WAVE OF POETIC DIALOGUE IN DISCUSSION GROUPS DURING THE DAY.
Biodynamic produce grown on the land at Emerson will be seerved for lunch. Organic biscuits and kitchen garden teas are available during the breaks. Emerson is a Fairtrade College.
